Discussion with Professor Nicole Guidotti-Hernandez

The Latina/o Studies Working Group will host this informal discussion.

Dr. Nicole Guidotti-Hernandez is Associate Professor of American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She is an expert in borderlands history, transnational feminist methodologies, Chicano and Latino Studies, popular culture and immigration. She is the author of Unspeakable Violence: Remapping U.S. and Mexican National Imaginaries, which was a finalist for the Berkshire Women’s History Prize and won a MLA Book Award for Chicano/a and Latino/a Literary and Cultural Studies.

The Committee on Degrees in History and Literature will host a lecture on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 6PM in Emerson 210, Harvard Yard.
