The Role of Athletes in Ending the Uyghur Genocide

Join the Harvard Human Rights Working Group for a fascinating event and conversation between Rayhan Asat and Royce White. Rayhan Asat is a Harvard Law Alum and Uyghur advocate who advocates for her the freedom of her brother Ekpar Asat. She is also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council and a Yale World Fellow.

Royce White is a former professional basketball player with the NBA and a civil rights activist.

They will be discussing the role athletes can play in ending the Uyghur human rights crisis.

We will also be joined by LyLena Estabine, a current Harvard College student, who will be performing her original song dedicated to Rayhan's brother Ekpar.
