Senior Thesis Prize in Ethnicity, Migration, Rights
Award Amount: $500
The Committee on Ethnicity, Migration, Rights (EMR) would like to recognize the best senior thesis on the topic of ethnicity, human rights, indigeneity, or migration. Topics of interests also include Asian American, Latino, and Native American Studies.
Individual professors, departments, or concentrations may nominate candidates, or candidates may nominate their own paper.
To apply complete the CARAT application, a common online application used by many granting centers at Harvard. A complete nomination will include the following components:
- Candidate’s thesis
- Readers' comments on nominated thesis
- Candidate’s CV or resume
- Letter of recommendation supporting the candidate’s submission
Submitting letters through CARAT is the preferred method for submission. Letters may also be sent via email from the recommender to firstname.lastname@example.org. Emailed letters should be sent as a PDF document, on letterhead, and include a signature.
If you experience issues with CARAT, please send all materials (in PDF format only) directly to Yennifer Pedraza. Questions should also be directed to Yennifer Pedraza at yennifer_pedraza [at] fas.harvard.edu or 617.496.9318.
