Concentrator in Sociology
GABRIELA RIVERO is a senior in Leverett House concentrating in Sociology with a secondary in Latinx Studies. She is from the college town of Newark, Delaware, where she used her Spanish skills and passion for helping others to volunteer with an immigration attorney serving the local Latino community. As the product of Spanish, Cuban, and Venezuelan ancestry, Gabriela is very interested in immigration and human rights, especially as regards Latin America. At Harvard, Gabriela enjoys volunteering at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic (HIRC) at the law school, hanging out with friends, and exploring Boston. She is very thankful to be able to participate in SAC and support the EMR committee alongside the other amazing members, faculty, and secondary-fielders.
