MATTHEW KEATING is a junior in Leverett House concentrating in Government with a secondary in EMR. His academic interest is the intersection of US national security policy, diplomacy, and human rights. Outside of class, Matt works with a number of LGBT refugee rights NGOs in the US, Africa, and Middle East on development, publicity, fundraising, and general capacity building. He hopes to work with the EMR Committee to develop both more curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for undergrads at Harvard to prepare themselves for careers in public service and human rights work. In his free time Matt enjoys traveling, trying out new cafes in Boston, and watching videos of Corgis on the internet.
